This course will explore the history of modern-day Olympic sport both domestically and internationally. This course will take a deep dive into how history has shaped modern athletics as well as how sport has evolved and influenced today's society as a whole. The Olympic games have been influential on modern day sports and this course will explore the history sports in Greece that helped shape the way we view sport today. The exploration of sport history will culminate with a 9-day trip to Greece where we will examine the historical influence of Greece and the Olympics on modern sport.
