This course involves the mastery of technical skill for performing percussion repertoire including the study of representative works from the literature scales arpeggios etudes rudiments and the development of aesthetic awareness. Studio recital and final jury examination are required. This course may be repeated for credit. A maximum of eight semester hours of MUS 1813 may be counted toward graduation. Permission of instructor based on successful audition.
