Students will explore the nature of interpersonal communication in all contexts of their lives. Special emphasis will be placed on the impact of interpersonal communication in the personal, social, and organizational relationships of individuals and on society at large. There will be a highly practical aspect of this course regarding how we recognize, improve, and advance good communication skills in a social, professional, and societal context.
Students will also learn to be more discriminating “consumers” and “users” of good communication skills.
